Action Aid International
At International level AAI supports International Alliance activities advocating for hunger and poverty reduction. It distributes materials among members and partners. International Alliance officially supported the “get on board” initiative aimed to bring African voices to the G8 in 2005, through facilitating contacts with the Rome based agencies, and promoting the initiative along with international partners. On the field AAI financially supported the first year of activities of the National Alliance in Gambia. International Alliance and AAI will cooperate on selected countries in Africa and Latin America facilitating contacts with food security networks, national coordination mechanism targeted to civil society, aimed to better coordinate civil society in the fight against hunger.

Amurt International
AMURT was founded in Switzerland in 1985. In 2002, the respective AMURT organisations of Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, USA and Japan joined together to become AMURT (International), with its head office in Vienna, Austria. The goal of AMURT (International) is to improve the quality of services to people in need and in doing so building a platform on which to present AMURT at the international level.

Caritas Internationalis
Caritas Internationalis is the first international NGO that officially joined the International Alliance in 2003. A formal agreement was signed and since then Caritas has actively promoted the implementation of National Alliances through local sections of the organization as well as advocating at international level for hunger and poverty reduction. Thanks to the leading effort of Caritas, National Alliances were implemented in Sierra Leone, Burkina Faso and Guinea, and local sections of Caritas are active members of several National Alliances around the world. In cooperation with other International Alliance partners Caritas will facilitate the regional coordination of National Alliances. Caritas also provided support for a consultancy based in the International Alliance secretariat.

Foodfirst Information & Action Network (FIAN)
FIAN is an international human rights organization that has advocated for the realization of the right to food for more than 20 years. FIAN consists of national sections and individual members in over 50 countries around the world. FIAN is a not-for-profit organization without any religious or political affiliation and has consultative status to the United Nations.

International Federation of Agricultural Producers (IFAP)
IFAP supports the Alliance both at international and national level. At international level it advocates for hunger and poverty reduction as well as for the sustainable development of agriculture. IFAP also provided a keynote speaker, belonging to the French women farmers' organization, during the WFD celebrations in FAO headquarters in 2004. At national level it distributes International Alliance material to its members encouraging them to join the initiative.

The International NGO/CSO Planning Committee - IPC is a global network of NGOs/CSOs concerned with food sovereignty issues and programs. It includes social organizations representing small farmers, fisher folk, indigenous peoples, agricultural workers' trade unions; sub-regional/regional NGOs/CSOs which act as regional focal points; and NGO networks with particular expertise and a long history of lobbying and action and advocacy on issues related to food sovereignty and agriculture, which act as thematic focal points.

International Movement of catholic agricultural and rural youth producers (MIJARC)

More and Better
More and Better is an indipendent international campaign comprising social movements, civil society and NGOs organizations from over 50 countries and a core of unified national campaigns. It has been established to support and be a part of the fight to eradicate hunger and poverty. This objective is closely linked to the first Millennium Development Goal which provides an important milestone for this campaign. Réseau des organisations paysannes et de producteurs de l'Afrique de l'Ouest (ROPPA)
ROPPA joined the International Alliance with its network of farmers' organizations and agricultural producers of West Africa . In cooperation with other International Alliance regional partners they will lead the process of implementation of a regional alliance formed by four countries and will join the National Alliances in some other countries and strengthen their networks. They will also facilitate consultations for the Special Forum of 2006 involving civil society in the evaluation of the WFS plan of Action.

World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS)
The biggest women's organization of the world was one of the first INGOs to join the Alliance in 2003. It promotes the International Alliance by distributing materials to its 144 member organizations, encouraging them to take part in National Alliances, in order to make voice of girls and young women heard at national level. It also advocates for hunger and poverty reduction world-wide focussing on women's empowerment for sustainable development. WAGGGS attends the meetings of the International Alliance working group and cooperates with other youth organizations in order to broaden young people's participation in National Alliances. WAGGGS provided a keynote speaker for the side event organized in 2004 during the CFS. WAGGGS is a founding member of the International Youth Forum together with WOSM.

World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM)
WOSM joined the International Alliance with more than 28 million Scouts, youth and adults, boys and girls, in 216 countries and territories. WOSM is promoting the International Alliance among its members and is committed to lead the process of implementation in selected countries. In these countries the organization will also facilitate young people's participation and networking with other youth organizations. At international level WOSM strongly supports the IYFWFS, serves as coordinator of the Ad Hoc Group of NGOs/CSOs of FAO and participates in the International Alliance working group.
